OkCupid Self Summary:

I'm nice and mellow (hence I've chosen the west coast)! But, I'm also a little bit mean (because I was born/bred on the east coast--a recovering prep school, ivy leaguer). I’m pretty sharp, measured in my approach to some things--and to others, completely irrational. I'm good-naturedly ambitious. I love laughing until the lower back of my head hurts, staying up late to talk until the words don't make sense, and thinking hard, fast, and deep about almost anything. I'm an artist. So, let that be the defining element of my self-summary. I'm trying to make stuff. I'm trying to propel the world forward with good things, original things, things that come from the mushy, warm interior of my being. It can be difficult. As can I.

Goals for the Blog:

This blog is about art making and critique; writing and thinking out loud, semi-colons, creative non fiction, living in Los Angeles, being impatient, growing up, getting down, being human, waving one hand in the air like I just don't care...while the other is very clumsily steering a bicycle through traffic.
